Used Books
They’re not just our namesake – our 100,000+ great used books per store make up the bulk of our inventory. We’re passionate about used books and that passion is evident in our stores, from the highly categorized sections to the neat shelves to the wide and bright aisles. We carry not only the classics, but also hot new titles and popular selections in used condition. We know what you want so we go out and get it. In addition to the books we purchase from our sister company, Got Books, we also buy in-demand titles from publishers to keep the books you want on the shelves. We buy often to keep up with requests and right now we’ve got great used copies of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, Water for Elephants, Little Bee, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and so many more. New Books
Because we know you love them, we also purchase brand new books to put on our shelves. While the bulk of our inventory is comprised of gently used titles, we carry a great selection of various new books that are always in demand. In addition to the Best Sellers we carry, our brand new books are those which have been released in the last few years and are highly recognizable. In both hardcover and paperback, these titles are priced at a deep discount from the list price, making new literature one indulgence you can allow yourself, guilt-free. Right now we’re seeing lots of The Shack, The Help, The Glass Castle ($12.00 in PB), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ($11.96 in PB), The Girl Who Played with Fire ($12.76 in PB), Water for Elephants ($11.96 in PB), Little Bee ($12.00 in PB) and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series ($8.76 in HC) among many others. Our stores carry the top selling books as determined by the New York Times Best Sellers list. These books are the absolute hottest titles at the moment and change frequently to reflect the current market. Our displays include the top Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Paperback Fiction, Paperback Nonfiction, Advice & How-To, as well as recent Best Sellers and New Releases. This very exciting addition to our shelves allows us to be a one-stop-shop for all your book needs. Prices vary by title.
Bargain Books
Bargain books are overstocks and out-of-print titles from top quality publishers that we purchase in bulk and offer to our customers at deep discounts. Bargain books include fiction and nonfiction from cookbooks to biographies to self-help and more. Bargain books are not used, previously read, defective or inferior in any way; sometimes publishers simply print too many copies of a title and the extras are made available to buyers like us. Because we buy these items in large quantities we can pass the savings on to you, our loyal customers, and it’s a win-win! Selection will vary by store.
Kids Books
Kids books are very popular at the Used Book Superstore. It could be because we have thousands to choose from or because they’re priced as low as $1.39 or because our kid-friendly area makes it easy for parents to shop while keeping an eye on the little ones. Whatever the reason, each of our stores has a great kids area set up to ensure that your children can remain entertained – and within your view – using our coloring supplies, puzzles, chalkboards and more so you can have a stress free shopping experience. Audio Books
Many book lovers prefer their literature in an audible format from time to time. Audio books are great for commuters or anyone who loves to sit back and listen, and we’ve got them in both cassette and CD formats. Books on tape are just $1.49 every day and prices start at just $6.00 for books on CD. Our selection is as diverse as it is large and titles are sorted into fiction and nonfiction so you can find your favorite authors in a flash. New audio books hit the shelves everyday and these items are a HUGE hit with our shoppers so make sure to shop often for the best selection! Selection will vary by store.
