Used Book Superstore Donates $11,000 in Books to Burlington School District
Used Book Superstore, Inc. the largest used book store in New England has announced that for the second year every employee in the Burlington MA school district (784) will receive $15 in used books. The $15 book credit can be redeemed at the Burlington Used Book Superstore at 256 Cambridge Street. The gift to the school system, which exceeds $10,000 in value is the latest school-system wide donation from the Used Book Superstore. Similar gifts have been made year to the Billerica, Reading MA and Danvers MA school systems as well as the Salem NH school system. >More
Used Book Superstore Donates 750 Books to Haverhill’s Tilton School
Used Book Superstore, Inc headquartered in Wilmington MA, the largest used bookstores in New England has announced that the Tilton School in Haverhill MA is the latest recipient of a “Great Book Giveaway” and will receive a gift of 750 books. The books are being donated as part of the Haverhill YMCA’s Educator of the Year award for 2011. The YMCA selected Kerri Alves of the Tilton School as the 2011 Educator of the Year. Each of the more than 600 students at the school will receive a book to keep for themselves. The balance of the books will become part of the school’s library. >More

Used Book Superstore, Inc. the largest used bookstores in New England has announced that the Hill View Montessori School in Haverhill MA is the latest recipient of a “Great Book Giveaway” and has received a gift of 750 books to be used to stock the library at the school. Each of the 27 teachers at the school will also receive a $15 credit to purchase books at the Salem NH Used Book Superstore location. The gift to the school, which exceeds $4,000 in value, is the latest donation from the Used Book Superstore to schools in its retail area. Similar gifts have been made this year to schools in both MA and NH, locally including Lawrence MA and Salem NH. >More

Used Book Superstore, Inc of Nashua, the largest used bookstore in New Hampshire has announced that it will give away more than 3,000 books and over 1,000 free book vouchers at the 8th annual Nashua Back to School Event on Thursday August 25, 2011. The Nashua Back to School event is sponsored by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and the city of Nashua. Monetary contributions and school supplies are donated from local businesses and the community at large. Suitcase & Book Bag Drive at the Used Book Superstore
Now until the end of June drop off new and gently used suitcases and book bags at the Burlington, Danvers, Nashua and Salem Used Book Superstore. In a partnership with Suitcases4Kids, the Used Book Superstore will serve as a drop-off donation point for these items which will be donated to children in foster and institutional care. Suitcases4Kids is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to collect and provide book bags and suitcases for children in need. There are more than 500,000 children in the US living in state care and often when they move they are forced to transport their belongings in trash bags. Providing the children with these items fulfills the goal of Suitcases4Kids, which is to help children move with dignity…one suitcase at a time. >See Our Flyer
