Used Book Superstore of Nashua Promotes Literacy Among Children

Nashua, NH August 24, 2011 – Used Book Superstore, Inc of Nashua, the largest used bookstore in New Hampshire has announced that it will give away more than 3,000 books and over 1,000 free book vouchers at the 8th annual Nashua Back to School Event on Thursday August 25, 2011.

The Nashua Back to School event is sponsored by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and the city of Nashua. Monetary contributions and school supplies are donated from local businesses and the community at large. The Used Book Superstore of Nashua is providing free books and free book vouchers for use in the store to everyone who attends. The estimated value of the book give away is over $6,000.

“We are committed to ensure that all children have the opportunity to have books available to them,” comments Bob Ticehurst, CEO and founder of the Used Book Superstores. “All five our stores actively give back to their community to support children and literacy.  This event is one of my personal favorites because we get to see first hand the excitement of the kids when they get to pick out a favorite book and take it home.”
