BURLINGTON MA SCHOOL DISTRICT RECEIVES $11,000 IN BOOKS FROM USED BOOK SUPERSTORE
Second Year Every School Department Employee Receives $15 in Books
Wilmington, MA February 14, 2012 – Used Book Superstore, Inc. the largest used book 
store in New England has announced that for the second year every employee in the Burlington MA school district (784) will receive $15 in used books. The $15 book credit can be redeemed at the Burlington Used Book Superstore at 256 Cambridge Street. The gift to the school system, which exceeds $10,000 in value is the latest school-system wide donation from the Used Book Superstore. Similar gifts have been made year to the Billerica, Reading MA and Danvers MA school systems as well as the Salem NH school system.
“The mission of the Burlington Public Schools is to help students acquire organized knowledge, master creative and intellectual skills, as well as develop self-sufficiency and responsible citizenship. Having access to books is an important step in the achievement of that mission”, comments Burlington Superintendent of Schools Dr. Eric M. Conti. “The gift from the Used Book Superstore is a generous one that is very much appreciated. We are encouraging our staff to take complete advantage of this.”
