Retail Book Industry Background

In 2009, Book Industry Trends, the Book Industry Study group reported the $40.32 billion in US book publisher’s sales.  In 2010 Forrester Research predicted end of year e-book sales to be $966 million, growing to $3 billion in sales by 2015.

The Used Book Superstore chain is continuing its three-year expansive growth to become one of largest used bookstores in the USA with more than 100,000 gently used books, CDs, DVDS and audio books, as well as new books, toys, games and puzzles in each store.  There are currently five Used Book Superstores in MA and NH.  The Company opportunistically is considering further expansion in New England as well as into major retail centers across the USA.
